Live Vault – Anoice

Anoice have been creating instrumental cinematic post-rock, mixing ambient and neoclassical elements, for many years. The band features piano, viola, drums and guitar – making the sound a vibrant mix of classical and rock. It has been wonderful to chart their success over the years, and many members have their own projects too, all housed on Ricco Label.

Anoice: Live in Tokyo 2025 is a live concert release that is available to watch on YouTube for free. The album itself is available for pay-what-you-want on Bandcamp. It covers music across seven of Anoice’s albums and showcases their flair for cinematic, sweeping soundscapes. The power of the viola, synths, piano, drums and guitar all take centre stage across the concert. The musical craft of each musician is on point and the setlist flows like a symphonic story in motion. If you haven’t explored the quartet’s music before, this is the perfect place to start. The band describes this concert as “destructive beauty” and I cannot agree more.
